My old man has decided to sell his MF 135 and I'm trying to find out what he should be asking for it. He is selling it with a cheap 6 foot blade, 14" plow and chains. It has 2200 hours on it and is gas engine. Tires are in excellent shape and the paint is good. Any suggestions on what a good price is? He has been asking $4,200 but has been getting looks as if that is too high.

Different areas of the country may demand higher prices. A base tractor like he has, is only worth about $2,000 to $2,500 in my area. You may get a little more for it if you are willing to wait for a collector or someone that falls in love with it.

My MF135 needs paint bad but is equipped with a loader with bucket and front blade, back hoe and loaded tires. That combination is worth about $5,000.00 to $6,500.00 in my area ....

That tractor would easily bring $4000 around here with no implements. Especially if it is a diesel. Gasoline engine probably not quite as much.
Good luck,
Bill ....
